Family records were very popular needlework projects
for young girls to stitch while in school. This unusual piece, however, was probably worked at home by an adult.
It is very graphic with an overall needlework background and an incredible amount of information. It was probably
worked by one of the younger female children when she was a young adult. Her parents Cyrus Bardeen and Sally (Wilber)
had thirteen children and the one that managed this masterpiece must have been dyslexic as several times the letter
"s" is reversed.
