"Lake Scene" probably made in France c.1820.
This is an exquisitely executed large silk embroidery is in perfect condition. It depicts a landscape with a
boater on a lake surrounded with beautifully situated estates. On the shores are a stage hunting scene on the right
and a seated man fishing on the left.
The original gold leaf frame is protected with the original glass mounted over the frame.
