Lot 281-2 (description taken from Sotheby's catalogue)

Needlework Family Register sampler, signed Wrought by Lucia A. Daniels, Providence, dated 1832. Worked in silk stitches on a linen ground with names and dates of the Daniels-Paine family, all with columns with floral bower above, at the base, a cornucopia and tomb. Some fading and stain. 18 by 16 inches.
