Harriet Moulton Silk Embroidered Memorial Troy, New York c.1810 This stunning embroidery is inscribed HARRIET MOULTON AGED. NINE YEARS. Harriet (born 1801) probably depicted herself and her mother standing by the monuments to her broth-ers. Josiah Moulton Jun. died on the 8th of November, 1806 at aged 1 year and 7 months, and Henry Augustus Moulton died on the 4th of April, 1799 at aged 7 months and 11 days. Harriet wasn't born until after Henry died, but she charmingly finished the inscription on Henry's mon-ument with, "Your little sister, fondly dear, Records, with pain, your mem'ry here".
