Catharine, at age 12, was boarding in Glastonbury, CT. Her family lived in lower Manhattan in New York. She worked this graphic sampler that includes all the classic elements of the other few samplers known from this school such as; the three sided flowering rose border, arched columns and three wreaths at the top.
