Jane Elizabeth Maxwell, worked this highly graphic sampler with potted flowers over a tree lined lawn with
sheep, a flower, and an elaborate wide floral three sided border all surrounded with a wide dark green silk border
with corner rosettes. It retains its original veneered 4 inch ogee frame. Wool on linen; 28" x 31 ¾"
with frame.
